Question: Do you consider yourself to be an independent thinker, or someone who just goes with the flow?

Did you know that the bible talks about this very question? There are two roads in this life that we must choose from. One road leads to heaven and the other road leads to hell.

Those who follow the narrow road are people who have accepted God's wonderful gift of salvation through his Son Jesus Christ, and their names will be found in the Book of Life, and they will spend eternity in Heaven with God.

Those who follow the wide road are people who have chosen to reject Christ, and their names will not be in the Book of Life, and their final destination will be in the lake of fire. No arguments. Case closed.

The book of Revelation describes the Final Judgment of humankind. "And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire". (Revelation 20:15)

Sadly, many people will choose the wide road that leads to hell. They do so not because they want to spend eternity in agony but because they just go with the flow. They do what everybody else does and don't think for themselves. Jesus called this the easy way.

Jesus said "You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

The only way to get off this wide road and cancel your reservation for hell is to make sure your name is entered into God's reservation book for heaven- the Book of Life.

Would you like to have your name written in the Book of Life? Is there any good reason stopping you from praying right now?

The Lord Jesus wants to save you; He is standing knocking at your heart's door, He shed His precious blood on the cross for you, and He promised to save you if you would trust Him. May I suggest a prayer like this; pray it from your heart.

Dear God, thank You for loving me. Lord Jesus thank you for dying for me on the cross, you promised to save me if I trusted you, and I do trust you. Right now, this moment come into my life, forgive my sins, and write my name in your Book of Life so that I can spend eternity in heaven with you. In your holy name I Pray. Amen.
